Possibly one of my favorites to date… because if i must say so myself and if I do say so myself this one right here feels almost like a gospel to me (if you agree after reading, please just put a solid amen in the air for me, one time!).
But all jokes aside HOW MANY OF YOU compare yourself to others while running that rat race to be the best? How many suffer from the pressure of longing to be the G.O.A.T.(Greatest Of All Time) of our dreams?
Instead of masterminding our own strengths and weaknesses, we begin to hone into either what someone else around us is doing or reminisce on past accomplishments. We tend to use either one as a marker, which is extremely inappropriate and toxic.
A take-away quote from this piece is brought to by the renown Walt Whitman, who once said
“I am bad as the worst, but, thank God, I am as good as the best.”
You are who you are and you’ve done what you’ve done. What you’ll accomplish will be what you accomplish and you perceive as being “failures” will propel you towards your WINS!
Your good is enough.
